Mining the Now

Uncovering the Sacred in the Dailiness of Life

Welcome, and thank you for discovering or returning to Mining the Now, a place to explore living each moment with mindful and attentive hearts.

Mining the Now is an invitation to dig deep, to view every moment of our lives as an arena for tending the Holy, for uncovering the Divine speaking to us from everywhere and through everything. Wherever we may be on our spiritual paths, all are welcome to come here often to pray, reflect, and pay attention to God at work in our universe, God who accompanies us through the hopes and the heartaches, the joys and the grievings that are part of each day’s journeys.

Each post will offer a brief reflection on how the seemingly ordinary and routine are infused with uncommon wonder, grace, and meaning for our time and place. Thanks for stopping by and do come back often to share what you find here with others and to offer your own comments, wisdom, and insight.
